Prof Dr M Enamul Hoque

Prof. Dr. Md Enamul Hoque is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, at University of Tabuk. He is an internationally recognized academic and researcher with over 27 years of professional experience, including nearly two decades in higher education, research, and academic leadership across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He is recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists for his research contributions and scholarly impact. Prior to joining the University of Tabuk, Prof. Hoque served in several distinguished academic and leadership roles, including Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh; Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia; and Founding Head of the Bioengineering Division at University of Nottingham Malaysia. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore under a prestigious government scholarship and later earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Nottingham. He is a Chartered Engineer (UK) and Fellow of both the Higher Education Academy and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK. His research interests include additive manufacturing, biomaterials, biomechanics, biofabrication, nanotechnology, biomedical implants, rehabilitation engineering, and sustainable materials within circular economy frameworks. He has published approximately 140 journal articles, 124 book chapters, and 16 books, accumulating around 8000 citations with an h-index of 42.
